In 2019, ConnectWise changed the name of this event from ITNATION to IT Nation Connect. The IT Nation Connect 2019 event is by far the largest MSP event, where remarkable activities took place for all members. The IT Nation Connect is a global network or community of peers, industry experts, and thought leaders. Their common goal is to push all key players in this sector as well as the industry in general to new heights.
There are numerous activities of this organization that all Managed Service Providers (MSPs) can participate in such as in-depth product training, conferences, and community-based events. These are great opportunities where MSP companies can engage with their fellow members and provide help in any way possible to reach success.
IT Nation Connect 2019 Overview and More
ConnectWise has a suite of software applications that works for the transformation of technology providers, especially in helping MSPs deliver their managed IT services to clients all around the globe. It is also behind the IT Nation Connect’s success and continuous efforts to help members find long-term success.
For the year 2019, IT Nation Connect highlights some of the noteworthy people and events that took place in the IT sector. For instance, it highlighted the awarding ceremony of all 15-year veterans in the industry, acknowledging their contribution with thoughtful and nice gifts.
Moreover, there are also important things that all MSPs should know about, especially after the acquisition of ITBoost and Continuum. It may not come as a huge surprise to several people in the industry though since you cannot really keep that huge secret nowadays.
Highlight on Keynote Speaker Jason Magee
Jason Magee, is an excellent CEO of ConnectWise, succeeding Arnie Bellini of the Florida-based business MSP. Previously the COO and president of ConnectWise, the new CEO and keynote speaker of the 2019 IT NATION event is not a newbie to the industry as well as the ITN ecosystem.
His keynote speech was well-received and applauded, emphasizing on addressing the strategy and direction for the MSP-centric software market. Magee’s consistent work and presence in running ConnectWise’s daily operations earned him the authority and popularity across partner base MSPs as well as technology alliance partners.
About IT Nation Gives
For its second year, the IT Nation Gives has proven to be such a worthwhile event that MSPs can take part in and promote. There are approximately 30 participants who joined the event in the Orlando Day Nursery. The activity allows those who took part to help in the painting, gardening, and making games for the children.
IT Nation Gives connects MSPs with the local organizations and help them as a way of giving back to the community where these companies are based and operate. This half-day event brings volunteers to off-site visits with the designated organization for the year.
There are stories going around that the ongoing future goal is to ensure 20,000 attendees for IT Nation Connect in three years. This can be quite an aggressive goal with IT Nation Connect 2019 recording a little less than 4,000 participants. However, it will be such an interesting thing to anticipate and watch especially with the recent consolidation of shows and acquisitions happening.
